FY Revenues: $18.6 billion (+19%)

FY Earnings: $3.0 billion (+11%)

Comments: Sales of Alimta, Byetta, Cialis, Cymbalta, Forteo, Strattera, Symbyax, Xigris and Yentreve collectively grew 55% to $1.7 billion, and accounted for 33% of total 4Q sales, compared with 26% in 4Q06. Zyprexa sales for the quarter were up 10% to $1.3 billion and up 9% FY to $4.8 billion. 4Q Cymbalta sales were $628.3 million (+48%) and $2.1 billion for the year (+60%). Gemzar sales in the quarter were $425 million (+15%) and were $1.6 billion for the year (+13%). 4Q and FY R&D expenses were up 11% to $953.6 million and $3.5 billion, respectively.  

*4Q2006 earnings were impacted by asset impairment, restructuring and Zyprexa product liability charges.
